7.3 Earthquake Occurred Off Hokkaido
A very large earthquake, currently registering at 7.3, just hit 590 km off the coast of Japan. At first there was a tsunami warning, but now the news channels are saying that there is no tsunami from the quake. The earthquake registered magnitude 3 along the eastern coastlines of Honshu and Hokkaido in Japan.

Earthquakes varying in size are continuing to rock Japan. Late this morning an earthquake registering at 6.4 magnitude hit the Fukushima area of Japan. Further warnings of tsunamis have been issued and are continually being issued as quakes continue. Other areas further away from the original quake yesterday that took place just outside Tokyo are experiencing earthquakes and aftershocks....

Japanese TV is reporting the earthquake in all languages warning people along the coastal areas to evacuate ASAP for fear of tsunami. The tsunami warning is reporting a wave possibly up to 3 meters high. A few buildings are on fire, but the damage doesn’t look to be major. Traffic in Tokyo has come to a complete halt and people are frantic.
