Cherry blossoms got a late start this year. The season is about a week and a half later than it has been in the past few years. The cherry blossoms right now are at about 20 to 30% bloomed. After a day of rain yesterday, the cherry blossoms on most trees are close to 50% opened. Still, many trees are not even close to 50%, but are more like 20% opened. Many blossoms are still cherries.
