Heian Shrine Cherry Blossom Concert

Heian Shrine in Kyoto will hold a special cherry blossom concert from April 9-12, from 6:15 to 9pm.

Visitors can listen to live music while walking throughout the shrine area. The cherry blossom trees will be illuminated as well as the buildings adding to the beauty.

Musical performances will be given at 6:40pm – 7:20pm and 7:50pm to 8:30pm by the ensemble Kobudo on April 9th. Cellist Himaje Mizoguchi will perform on April 10th and Jusqua Grand-Pere will perform on April 11th. Robbin Lloyd will perform on the final day of the special event, April 12th.
