Rainy Season Sweeping In
Posted by Kyle Yates in Kansai Area News, Kansai Visitors
Ever wonder what rainy season is? Come visit Japan anytime during this week and you’ll surely find out…the hard way!
It is raining today, and it rained yesterday. The forecast for tomorrow is also rain. So what about two days from now? More rain? Yep!
If you look at a satellite image of Japan and Eastern Asia, you’ll see a huge cloud mass moving across part of China, over Korea and across Japan. Actually, because the clouds are so thick, you can barely see China, Korea or Japan.
So expect rain for the next week or so here in Japan. Bring an umbrella with you and wear shoes that can get wet, but keep your feet dry if you plan to be outdoors.
If you don’t like rain, too bad. Look on the bright side. At least it’s not hot and muggy!
